FAX SNAFFEW

Ok so I called the nurse and left a message to find out about my steroids and she called me back and said " Thank god you called, they should have called you by now! Apparantly Lincare said that they never received the fax. So the nurse refaxed and then called to make sure they received the fax. When I got home from work there was a call from Lincare on the machine to set up my schedule. YAA HOOOO!!!!

  1. Hi Jenny,

Do you have to do IV solumedrol? I hate that stuff!!
Anyway, which neurologist do you see if you don't mind my asking. I saw on one of your posts that you might have to go to the MS clinic in Rochester. That's where I go.

Take care and best of luck with the steroids!
    BTW your dogs are adorable!

  2. Hi Erin,

I have always had good luck with the Solumedrol. Thank god! I went to the MS clinic in Rochester for a second opinion per the request of my neurologist. I saw Dr Schwid. He was a great guy but I received a letter a few months back saying that he had passed away after a battle with cancer.
I was original diagnosed by Dr. Kumar Bhagavatula at Community General hospital in Syracuse but I have recently switched to Dr. Laura Simionescu from University Hospital in Syracuse.
    So far so good!

  3. Jenny,

Most people do not know this, but you can request to have you infusions done at home. It is soooo much better being in the privacy and comfort of your own home.

I use to go to the infusion center to receive my IVSM when I needed one, until I found out I could have it done at home.
